For 2024, Hopkins Women’s Club awarded our $2000 scholarship to Priscila Vergara. Her family is in Mexico and she has been living in Hopkins this year attending Hopkins High School.
For 2022, Hopkins Women’s Club awarded two scholarships. A longtime member, Marge Carstens passed away and her family offered a scholarship in her honor. That $2,000 scholarship went to Hopkins High Senior Lena Skowronek, she will be attending U of WI Madison.
The $2,000 club scholarship went to Hopkins High School Senior Stella Christensen, she will be attending U of M Twin Cities.
We wish them both continued success as they begin their college career.
For this year, 2021 the club had voted to increase the scholarship to $2,000. Since we have not been meeting, no loose change has been collected, members are asked to donate directly to the scholarship fund. Please direct your donation to Lynn Grey.

The club’s annual $1,000 scholarship to a senior girl graduating from the Hopkins High School comes from yearlong loose change donations made during monthly luncheons and from special drawings and raffles throughout the year.
